Indian web series over the recent years have been path-breaking, something unique and tasteful.  They have given the industry a lot of talented members be it in acting, direction or any other field.  Keeping in sync with the hangover of TVF Tripling, this post is to celebrate three amazing powerhouses of talent that came into light due to this series.  Sumeet vyas, Maanvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar or more appropriate for this post, Chandan, Chanchal and Chitvan.

·        SUMEET VYAS

Sumeet Vyas was a comparatively known face and name in the industry as compared to the other two actors when Tripling arrived.  He became a household name and every Indian girl’s dream guy after his stint in Permanent Roommates and Mikky Bhaiya and his coooool” became a part of every millenial’s slang.  But with Tripling, Vyas showed the power of his versatility.  A reserved, protective, judgemental and an uptight person always planning for the future instead of living in the moment, this character of Chandan gave Vyas another area of acting to explore.  And damn, he came out successful like always.

Apart from his acting prowess, Vyas also showed his writing skills as Tripling was indeed his creation.  This multi-talented guy was just waiting for his platform to shine and TVF eventually gave him that.  What followed for him was more recognition and much more diverse work spreading over the film industry as well.  Vyas followed by writing Bang Baaja Baarat, a web series for Yash Raj and finally got his big break by starring opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Veere Di Wedding last year.

·        MAANVI GAGROO

Maanvi Gagroo did a cameo in PK as Anushka Sharma’s friend and fellow journalist, and followed it with the role of an amazing and supportive girlfriend in TVF’s Pitchers.  She made a mark with the latter but she eventually got her full space to shine in Tripling and damn did she take it well.  As a middle child and only sister in the trio, Gagroo shined throughout the five episodes with her performance.  She was innocent, playful, strong and vulnerable as as when the script required.  She was as believable as an uncomfortable royal daughter-in-law as she was as the carefree, modern, young girl watching her brothers fight.

Gagroo brought out the essence of Chanchal with utmost grace and her cuteness literally took over the internet by storm.  She is a treasure of talent and she showed her wild and hot side to the audience in Four more shots please! this year.  She is the ultimate combination of hotness, sex appeal and talent, the living example of every guy’s dream and every girl’s inspiration.

·        AMOL PARASHAR

The biggest revelation of the series was indeed Chitvan a.k.a Amol Parashar.  His comic timing, his weird yet amazing combination of traditional and Modern music and his sentimental dialogues found a place in the audience’s heart.  He taught us how necessary and normal it is to complement and express our love to our siblings.  Not only that, he showed us how easy it is to let the emotional baggage go and do not let it overpower our love for our siblings.

Chitvan was immature, carefree, living in the moment and Parashar lived this character with utmost finesse and relatability.  Parashar made the character so believable that every viewer of the show now relates it with his name and his character the most.  His song “……ma da ma da ma da mother mother mother f@#$%&....” garnered a separate fanbase for him.  He was the ultimate find of tripling.
